Frequently Asked Questions- Visitors: Q: Where is the Information Center with the Kiosk located? A: The Information Center is located at 1220 Carrabassett Drive, Route 27 in Carrabassett Valley across from Ayotte's Store. Q: When WILL the Information Center open? A: Currently we are undergoing renovations and installing new equipment.  By stay tuned and we will be finished soon! The Kiosk will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is easily accessible in a well lit area in the front of the building. Q: Whatelse is at the Information Center? A: There is a port-a-potty as well a ramp and stairs to use the Kiosk. Wireless internet access is also available to the parking area, using your own computer with a wireless modem. Q: Why is it when I "GOOGLE" Map places in Carrabassett Valley I cannot find them or Google shows a Kingfield address? A: Google uses multiple ways to locate things. One of these ways is a zip code. The Carrabassett Valley zip code is the same as Kingfield -04947. Since Kingfield has the post office, then that is what Google uses. So if you see something that is located on Route 27 - Carrabassett Valley, it may show that it is in Kingfield. But rest assured, once you see the Carrabassett Valley sign, you're home!
